Savory sausages and tender apples come together in this simple, satisfying dish, with a hint of lemon and fresh thyme. It’s bright, flavorful, and pairs perfectly with eggs, pancakes, waffles, or French toast.

Ingredients
- (1 package) Breakfast Sausage Links
- (3-4) Apples, peeled, cored and cut into eighths
- (3 tablespoons) Butter
- (1 tablespoon) Lemon juice
- (1/8 teaspoon) Sea salt
- (1 teaspoon) Fresh Thyme, for garnishing
Directions
- In a 12-inch cast-iron skillet, cook sausages over medium-high heat, turning occasionally, about 10 minutes
- Add butter and apple slices. Sprinkle with lemon juice and salt. Cover and cook over medium heat for 10 minutes or until apples are tender and sausages are fully cooked
- Top with fresh thyme and enjoy!
